Graham Beard

He is a well-known amateur palaeontologist based on Vancouver Island
He serves as the long-time curator of the paleontology collection at the Qualicum Beach Museum.
Over 40 years, he has collected more than 20,000 fossils and discovered several new species, including a fossil flower named Tinaflora beardii after his wife.
